google research

For the Capstone project research we decided to use google. but there are ways to sum up the results to less than a hundred results. Mrs. Sutter gave up a couple of tips to sum up the results, here are some:
1. first we asked google a question, but there was too many results so we had to try to narrow it down.
2. second we made it to only the past week results it went down more than half
3. third we took out the webpages, videos, and images that made it go down to 10,000
4. then wee took out all the newspaper articles, foreign policy, citzens tax, advanced reading, word press, and blogs and that made it go down to under a 100, which made us satisfied with the result.
The Question was: "how do the democratic and republican positions on the 'fiscal cliff'' differ."
the tools we used where:AND,OR,"", and ~
thank you and I would use these tips if i was you.

Star Wars 3
In the revenge of the sith, young Anakin Skywalker becomes Darth Vader it was the one thing Obi wan Kenobi raised him into not becoming. Throughout episode three we see Anakin facing difficult obstacles throughout this journey in finding who he truly is and who’s he become. But while on that journey, Anakin faces lots of hardship of hurting the ones he loves, like Padame. With that most chose between turning to the dark side or the sedi he was raised to be.
As Anakin Skywalker falks into the arms of a sith lord, he becomes the enemy of the sedi. He begins to lose himself in all the evilness and in a way compelled by this evil sith lord. For example, killing younglings and taking the lives of one of his fellow friends. He realizes that what he does is wrong, but he is brainwashed with lies.
With the darkness on his shoulder he faces the one thing that hurts the most, which is padame. With his anger he realizes that he takes his anger out on her with force. As a result, he kills her because of falling into a trap by the sith lord. Anakin made a big mistake and he hurt the love of his life. Things will never be the same for Anakin.

With the journey to the dark side, his loved ones try to save his humanity, especially Obi Wan Kenobi because young Anakin was like a brother to him, but towards the end of the story, Anakin is at the edge with no regrets. He has caused so much damage with the decisions he made.
With being at the edge of the darkness, in my opinion there was still hope for young Anakin Skywalker. He had the ability and strength to follow his own journey and become the Sedi he was supposed to become in the first place. He was capable to not let the sith lord lead him into that black hole that he becomes far too deep in. In the end I believe that he remains a sedi somewhere deep inside himself.

The Cook

If they asked me what i would be in the middle ages I would be The Cook. The Cook lived with the royals in the royal house, he would cook for them breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even deserts. Most of the time the cook would cook food for the royals but when he had free time he would help clean with the maids, but not always. The most challeging thing for the cook is when there is lots of people in the royal house and he needs to cook food for them, its stressfull and hard, but hes use to it.

The cook only got to see his family once a month, it was horrible for him. His kids only got to see him 12 times a year, and when he does get to see them he would spend a day and a half and go back to the royal house for a month. For the cook he doesnt get invoved with things that happen in the royal house, all he wants is to work and support his family and live like any normal human live.

The cook values alot, because not everyone can cook, and not everyone can memorize the things you need to put in a meal to make it taste good. Family always comes first for him and supporting them goes right after. The cooks plans for the future is to open up his own resturant, hire people to work for him, and have time to see his kids and wife every night and maybe take them out for a vacation every once in a while.

My American dream

Everyone has a dream, whether if your two years old or fifty years old. But not everyone has the commitment or dedication to accomplish their dream. No one should give up on their dream, because we only live once so “let’s make it happen”.
Each generation has a different dream, for most kids, there dream is to be Spiderman or batman, for most teenagers, there dream is to Graduate from high school and go to a university. In the article “Generation screwed” it says that “56 percent of the recent high-school graduates feel they would not be financially more successful than their parents.” Most parents didn’t graduate or didn’t even go to school, back in the day it was all about working and trying to make it in life. Now it’s all about going to college and getting your degree, but even if you do, it’s very hard to get a job. “The unemployment rate for the people between 18 and 29 is 12 percent in the United states nearly 50 percent above the national average.” That’s why this article is called “generation screwed”, people with degrees can’t find jobs anymore.
My American dream is to first graduate from high-school, go to a good college while working at the same time, get my bachelors degree hopefully my masters, I also hope to get a well paying job to support my family in the future. I want to have a house with a beautiful backyard, swimming pool, a hybrid car to save gas, and finally a wife that can teach my kids my culture, how to be mature and to be successful in life. Last thing that I pray for every night is to provide everything and anything for my family. Now is that too much to ask for.
Everyday, every month, and every year something new comes out, like computers, phones, shoes, clothes, everything, but most of them all is technology, technology is getting bigger and bigger day by day. “The average teen process as astounding 3,700 texts a month” this shows that teens are too addicted to technology. My number one dream in life is to lower the rate that technology is being launched.
Basically My American dream is to live happy, make money, and provide everything for my family. I won’t give up on my dream neither should you, and were all people and we all want to dream so let’s accomplish those dreams

College career

Why are we forced to go to school? When you're five years old, you went to kindergarten, that’s when you learned you alphabets and your numbers. Everyone says go to school go to school, its important, and at the end you end up not graduating, or not going to college, or even dropping out of school. My point is that colleges should accept anyone that wants to go to college because we spent 13 years of our life and that shouldn't go to waist.
Most people that go to a private school are rich, there parents are millionaires, they live in a mansion, they have mates, they have everything and can get anything they want. When there senior year comes they apply for any college they want and most of them get accepted, but the ones that don’t get accepted they pay money and still get in the college they want. That’s why colleges are unfair, because a rich kid can get in any college, and a middle class student can’t get in if he doesn’t have good grades and a good record.
Many people that go to a community college’s end up not finishing there major, but most of the people that go to a 4 year college like UC CSU end up graduating. How is that fair? The person that went to a community college is going to end up working hard for 2000 dollars a month while the other person is getting 10,000 or 20,000 or even 30,000 thousand dollars a month.

The Government needs to step up and pay for some of these poor, intelligent boys/girls, because it’s not fair. We are all people are nobody is smarter that nobody. There should be more programs to help poor kinds make it to college and get a career like everyone else.
