blog refelction

In completing all aspects of my capstone project I used a lot of critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity. I used a lot of critical thinking because my topic was not a basic topic I had to memorize, understand, and learn a language, there was lots of memorizing because Arabic grammar is one of the hardest grammar to learn, and you have to memorize many different kinds of effects and grammar. I used communication by discussing many topics and challenges I faced during the course. Creativity played a big role because in order to make sense in Arabic you have to be creative with your writing and how you use words on sentences. For my essay and physical project  I had to use collaboration to make them connect in some way.
This project taught me a lot, it taught me how to be responsible, learned how to write and read in Arabic, showed me what college is going to be like, and I learned that nothing is impossible if you try. This project helped me socially by making me talk to people In a language I'm not fluent in, talk to my parents in Arabic at all time, and to read a speech in Arabic at my church.
There was many ups and down during the year, but the main thing that I had a difficulty in was reading the word when there's effects used, it was hard to pronounce it and to read it, but I challenged my self to learn it and I did.  In the middle of the semester I started to practice more and more until I learned how to read words with the effects. Another challenge I faced was keeping up with the homework, every week we would get 7 pages of homework and only a week to do it, on top of that I had senior project stuff to work on, but I told my self that I have to do it if I want to graduate and go to college like all the seniors. I did the homework, and even did some extra credit.
